128 第二如来希有经
“比丘们,如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者出现时,有四种希有、未曾有之法显现。是哪四种?比丘们,众生乐著执取、欢喜执取、陶醉于执取;当如来宣讲无执取之法时,他们倾耳聆听、专心注意、心生了解。比丘们,如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者出现时,这是第一种希有、未曾有之法的显现。
“比丘们,众生乐著傲慢、欢喜傲慢、陶醉于傲慢;当如来教导调伏傲慢之法时,他们倾耳聆听、专心注意、心生了解。比丘们,如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者出现时,这是第二种希有、未曾有之法的显现。
“比丘们,众生乐著不寂静、欢喜不寂静、陶醉于不寂静;当如来教导寂静之法时,他们倾耳聆听、专心注意、心生了解。比丘们,如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者出现时,这是第三种希有、未曾有之法的显现。
“比丘们,众生为无明所覆、如卵壳所包、被黑暗笼罩;当如来教导破除无明之法时,他们倾耳聆听、专心注意、心生了解。比丘们,如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者出现时,这是第四种希有、未曾有之法的显现。比丘们,如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者出现时,这四种希有、未曾有之法显现。”第八。
129 阿难希有经
“比丘们,有四种希有、未曾有之法在阿难身上。是哪四种?比丘们,如果比丘众为见阿难而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果阿难在那里说法,说法后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,比丘众尚未满足,而阿难却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果比丘尼众为见阿难而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果阿难在那里说法,说法后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,比丘尼众尚未满足,而阿难却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果优婆塞众为见阿难而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果阿难在那里说法,说法后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,优婆塞众尚未满足,而阿难却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果优婆夷众为见阿难而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果阿难在那里说法,说法后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,优婆夷众尚未满足,而阿难却默然不语。比丘们,这些就是阿难身上的四种希有、未曾有之法。”第九。
130 转轮王希有经
“比丘们,有四种希有、未曾有之法在转轮王身上。是哪四种?比丘们,如果剎帝利众为见转轮王而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果转轮王在那里说话,说话后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,剎帝利众尚未满足,而转轮王却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果婆罗门众为见转轮王而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果转轮王在那里说话,说话后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,婆罗门众尚未满足,而转轮王却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果居士众为见转轮王而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果转轮王在那里说话,说话后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,居士众尚未满足,而转轮王却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果沙门众为见转轮王而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果转轮王在那里说话,说话后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,沙门众尚未满足,而转轮王却默然不语。比丘们,这些就是转轮王身上的四种希有、未曾有之法。
“同样地,比丘们,有四种希有、未曾有之法在阿难身上。是哪四种?比丘们,如果比丘众为见阿难而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果阿难在那里说法,说法后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,比丘众尚未满足,而阿难却默然不语。
“比丘们,如果比丘尼众……比丘们,如果优婆塞众……比丘们,如果优婆夷众为见阿难而前往,仅见他就感到喜悦。如果阿难在那里说法,说法后他们也感到喜悦。比丘们,优婆夷众尚未满足,而阿难却默然不语。比丘们,这些就是阿难身上的四种希有、未曾有之法。”第十。

128. “Tathāgatassa, bhikkhave, arahato sammāsambuddhassa pātubhāvā cattāro acchariyā abbhutā dhammā pātubhavanti. Katame cattāro? Ālayārāmā, bhikkhave, pajā ālayaratā ālayasammuditā; sā tathāgatena anālaye dhamme desiyamāne sussūsati sotaṃ odahati aññā cittaṃ upaṭṭhapeti Tathāgatassa, bhikkhave, arahato sammāsambuddhassa pātubhāvā ayaṃ paṭhamo acchariyo abbhuto dhammo pātubhavati.
“Mānārāmā bhikkhave, pajā mānaratā mānasammuditā. Sā tathāgatena mānavinaye dhamme desiyamāne sussūsati sotaṃ odahati aññā cittaṃ upaṭṭhapeti. Tathāgatassa, bhikkhave, arahato sammāsambuddhassa pātubhāvā ayaṃ dutiyo acchariyo abbhuto dhammo pātubhavati.
“Anupasamārāmā, bhikkhave, pajā anupasamaratā anupasamasammuditā. Sā tathāgatena opasamike dhamme desiyamāne sussūsati sotaṃ odahati aññā cittaṃ upaṭṭhapeti. Tathāgatassa bhikkhave, arahato sammāsambuddhassa pātubhāvā ayaṃ tatiyo acchariyo abbhuto dhammo pātubhavati.
“Avijjāgatā, bhikkhave, pajā aṇḍabhūtā pariyonaddhā. Sā tathāgatena avijjāvinaye dhamme desiyamāne sussūsati sotaṃ odahati aññā cittaṃ upaṭṭhapeti. Tathāgatassa, bhikkhave, arahato sammāsambuddhassa pātubhāvā ayaṃ catuttho acchariyo abbhuto dhammo pātubhavati. Tatra ce ānando dhammaṃ bhāsati, bhāsitenapi sā attamanā hoti. Atittāva, bhikkhave, bhikkhuparisā hoti, atha ānando tuṇhī bhavati.

130. “Cattārome bhikkhave, acchariyā abbhutā dhammā raññe cakkavattimhi. Katame cattāro? Sace, bhikkhave, khattiyaparisā rājānaṃ cakkavattiṃ dassanāya upasaṅkamati, dassanenapi sā attamanā hoti. Tatra ce rājā cakkavattī bhāsati, bhāsitenapi sā attamanā hoti. Atittāva, bhikkhave, khattiyaparisā hoti, atha rājā cakkavattī tuṇhī bhavati.
“Sace, bhikkhave, brāhmaṇaparisā rājānaṃ cakkavattiṃ dassanāya upasaṅkamati, dassanenapi sā attamanā hoti. Tatra ce rājā cakkavattī bhāsati, bhāsitenapi sā attamanā hoti. Atittāva, bhikkhave, brāhmaṇaparisā hoti, atha rājā cakkavattī tuṇhī bhavati.

“Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, cattāro acchariyā abbhutā dhammā ānande. Katame cattāro? Sace, bhikkhave, bhikkhuparisā ānandaṃ dassanāya upasaṅkamati, dassanenapi sā attamanā hoti. Tatra ce ānando dhammaṃ bhāsati, bhāsitenapi sā attamanā hoti. Atittāva, bhikkhave, bhikkhuparisā hoti, atha ānando tuṇhī bhavati.
“Sace, bhikkhave, bhikkhuniparisā …pe… sace, bhikkhave, upāsakaparisā …pe… sace bhikkhave, upāsikāparisā ānandaṃ dassanāya upasaṅkamati, dassanenapi sā attamanā hoti.
