世尊住在舍卫城......"诸比丘,我随意能够离开感官欲望,远离不善法,进入并安住于具有寻、伺、由离生喜、乐的初禅。迦叶比丘也同样能够随意离开感官欲望,远离不善法,进入并安住于具有寻、伺、由离生喜、乐的初禅。


我能随意止息寻、伺,内心寂静,心一境性,无寻无伺,具有由定生喜、乐的第二禅。迦叶比丘也同样能够随意止息寻、伺...进入并安住于第二禅。


我能随意离喜,住于舍,具念正知,以身受乐,如圣者所说的'具舍、具念、乐住'的第三禅。迦叶比丘也同样能够随意离喜,住于舍,具念正知,以身受乐,如圣者所说的'具舍、具念、乐住'的第三禅。


我能随意断乐断苦,先前的喜忧已灭,不苦不乐,具有舍念清净的第四禅。迦叶比丘也同样能够随意断乐断苦...进入并安住于第四禅。

我能随意展现各种神通:一身变多身,多身合一身;显现隐形;穿越墙壁、围墙、山岳,无碍行走如虚空;出入大地如入水中;水上行走不沉没如履平地;空中跏趺而行如鸟飞翔;手能触摸擦拭这般具大神力大威德的日月;身至梵天界自在游行。迦叶比丘也同样能够随意展现各种神通...身至梵天界自在游行。


我能以清净超人的天耳,听闻人天二界远近之声。迦叶比丘也同样能够以清净超人的天耳...听闻远近之声。


我能以心了知他人之心:有贪心知是有贪心,离贪心知是离贪心,有嗔心...离嗔心...有痴心...离痴心...收缩心...散乱心...广大心...不广大心...有上心...无上心...定心...不定心...解脱心...未解脱心知是未解脱心。迦叶比丘也同样能够以心了知他人之心:有贪心知是有贪心...未解脱心知是未解脱心。


我能忆念种种宿命:一生、二生、三生、四生、五生、十生、二十生、三十生、四十生、五十生、百生、千生、百千生,许多坏劫、许多成劫、许多坏成劫,忆念:'我曾生于某处,如是名、如是姓、如是容貌、如是饮食、如是苦乐感受、如是寿量。从那里死后,又生于某处;在那里也是如是名、如是姓、如是容貌、如是饮食、如是苦乐感受、如是寿量。从那里死后,来生于此。'如是能忆念具种种行相、境遇的宿命。迦叶比丘也同样能够随意忆念种种宿命,譬如一生...如是能忆念具种种行相、境遇的宿命。


我能以清净超人的天眼,见众生死时生时,看见众生随其业力而趣向善趣恶趣,或贵贱、美丑、幸与不幸。了知这些众生因具身恶行、语恶行、意恶行,诽谤圣者,持邪见,行邪见业,身坏命终后生于恶趣、恶道、堕处、地狱;或者这些众生因具身善行、语善行、意善行,不诽谤圣者,持正见,行正见业,身坏命终后生于善趣、天界。如是以清净超人的天眼,见众生死时生时,看见众生随其业力而趣向善趣恶趣,或贵贱、美丑、幸与不幸。迦叶比丘也同样能够以清净超人的天眼见众生死生...了知众生随业流转。


我已由诸漏尽,现法中证得无漏心解脱、慧解脱。迦叶比丘也同样已由诸漏尽,现法中证得无漏心解脱、慧解脱。"

   152. Sāvatthiyaṃ viharati …pe… “ahaṃ, bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhāmi vivicceva kāmehi vivicca akusalehi dhammehi savitakkaṃ savicāraṃ vivekajaṃ pītisukhaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Kassapopi bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhati vivicceva kāmehi vivicca akusalehi dhammehi savitakkaṃ savicāraṃ vivekajaṃ pītisukhaṃ paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati”.

   “Ahaṃ, bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhāmi pītiyā ca virāgā upekkhako ca viharāmi sato ca sampajāno sukhañca kāyena paṭisaṃvedemi, yaṃ taṃ ariyā ācikkhanti– ‘upekkhako satimā sukhavihārī’ti tatiyaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi. Kassapopi, bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhati pītiyā ca virāgā upekkhako ca viharati sato ca sampajāno, sukhañca kāyena paṭisaṃvedeti, yaṃ taṃ ariyā ācikkhanti– ‘upekkhako satimā sukhavihārī’ti tatiyaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharati.

   “Ahaṃ, bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhāmi sukhassa ca pahānā dukkhassa ca pahānā pubbeva somanassadomanassānaṃ atthaṅgamā adukkhamasukhaṃ upekkhāsatipārisuddhiṃ catutthaṃ jhānaṃ upasampajja viharāmi.    “Ahaṃ bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhāmi anekavihitaṃ iddhividhaṃ paccanubhomi ekopi hutvā bahudhā homi, bahudhāpi hutvā eko homi; āvibhāvaṃ, tirobhāvaṃ, tirokuṭṭaṃ, tiropākāraṃ, tiropabbataṃ, asajjamāno gacchāmi, seyyathāpi ākāse; pathaviyāpi ummujjanimujjaṃ karomi, seyyathāpi udake; udakepi abhijjamāne gacchāmi, seyyathāpi pathaviyaṃ; ākāsepi pallaṅkena kamāmi, seyyathāpi pakkhī sakuṇo; imepi candimasūriye evaṃmahiddhike evaṃmahānubhāve pāṇinā parimasāmi parimajjāmi; yāva brahmalokāpi kāyena vasaṃ vattemi.    “Ahaṃ, bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhāmi anekavihitaṃ pubbenivāsaṃ anussarāmi, seyyathidaṃ – ekampi jātiṃ dvepi jātiyo tissopi jātiyo catassopi jātiyo pañcapi jātiyo dasapi jātiyo vīsampi jātiyo tiṃsampi jātiyo cattālīsampi jātiyo paññāsampi jātiyo jātisatampi jātisahassampi jātisatasahassampi, anekepi saṃvaṭṭakappe anekepi vivaṭṭakappe anekepi saṃvaṭṭavivaṭṭakappe– ‘amutrāsiṃ evaṃnāmo evaṃgotto evaṃvaṇṇo evamāhāro evaṃsukhadukkhappaṭisaṃvedī evamāyupariyanto so tato cuto amutra udapādiṃ; tatrāpāsiṃ evaṃnāmo evaṃgotto evaṃvaṇṇo evamāhāro evaṃsukhadukkhappaṭisaṃvedī evamāyupariyanto, so tato cuto idhūpapanno’ti.    “Ahaṃ, bhikkhave, yāvadeva ākaṅkhāmi dibbena cakkhunā visuddhena atikkantamānusakena satte passāmi cavamāne upapajjamāne hīne paṇīte suvaṇṇe dubbaṇṇe, sugate duggate yathākammūpage satte pajānāmi– ‘ime vata, bhonto, sattā kāyaduccaritena samannāgatā vacīduccaritena samannāgatā manoduccaritena samannāgatā ariyānaṃ upavādakā micchādiṭṭhikā micchādiṭṭhikammasamādānā; te kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapannā, ime vā pana, bhonto, sattā kāyasucaritena samannāgatā vacīsucaritena samannāgatā manosucaritena samannāgatā ariyānaṃ anupavādakā sammādiṭṭhikā sammādiṭṭhikammasamādānā; te kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā sugatiṃ saggaṃ lokaṃ upapannā’ti.
